Product Printing Information

At Flynn's TV, we ensure that every product is printed with top-tier technology for quality you can trust.

We use the Direct-to-Film (DTF) method for the neck labels on your apparel. This method delivers clean, precise prints with eco-friendly water-based inks that are fully biodegradable and non-toxic. Our production process is fully automated and paperless, making it as efficient as it is eco-friendly.

For the rest of the garment, we utilize Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing. We only use the best equipment available, like the Kornit Avalanche HD6 and Atlas machines. Our proprietary technology ensures seamless and odour-free prints, providing vibrant designs that look and feel great.

Rest assured, both our DTF and DTG methods are environmentally responsible, using the latest in inks and pre-treatments that leave no harmful residues or odours behind.

Please Note: The inner neck labels are printed using the DTF technology, while the rest of your apparel is printed using DTG technology for the best overall finish and durability.

Printing Methods

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Printing

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing is a cutting-edge method for printing high-quality designs directly onto clothing, much like printing on paper. Water-based pigmented inks are applied to the garment’s surface, where they bond with the fabric fibers. This technique is ideal for cotton or cotton-blend items.

DTG printing is a popular choice due to its ability to quickly produce one-off custom items at an affordable cost. It also excels at handling intricate and detailed designs, making it perfect for t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and more

Direct-to-Film (DTF) Printing

Direct-to-film (DTF) printing involves creating designs on specialized PET film, which are then transferred to garments using adhesive powder and heat. This method offers incredible flexibility, allowing vibrant designs to be applied to fabrics of any colour, thanks to the use of white ink as a base layer.

Compared to DTG, DTF prints have a slightly textured finish but offer enhanced durability and resistance to peeling. DTF is most commonly used for neck label printing and activewear, where durability is essential.
